JJ Rhatigan & Company win Sustainable Project of the Year 2015
JJ Rhatigan & Company are delighted to have won ‘Sustainable Project of the Year’ for the NUI Galway Life Course Studies Building. The Life Course Studies Building (LCSB) Design & Build project is a symbol of sustainability encompassing a 3,599m² teaching and research facility including a 250 seat Lecture Theatre and an open plan post graduate write-up space. JJ Rhatigan & Company implemented BREEAM principals and standards which set the standard for best practice in the LCSB sustainable building design, construction and operation. The building has many environmentally friendly sustainable features which reduces its environmental impact.
The Irish Building and Design Awards recognises and acknowledges the best in Ireland’s Building & Design projects.
