Crown Square Construction Update

The wait is certainly over and construction has been progressing well on the Crown Square development.

This project is our first Irish site to be registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme. As Considerate Constructors, JJ Rhatigan are committed to care about appearance, respect the community, protect the environment, secure everyone’s safety and value our workforce.

Construction Progress
Construction works on site are well underway with manpower reaching up to 90 workers on-site each day, two tower cranes are in operation and 4000m³ of concrete poured to date.

Construction Activities
The site is a buzz with activity. Over the coming months, the structural steel works to the Office Blocks will commence, along with the continued progression of the double basement.

Based on the current construction programme, it is anticipated that the first stage of Crown Square will be open in the 4th quarter of 2021, and will include 13,000m² of office space, a Hotel and the Crown Square public domain to cater for our new community and wider Galway residents.
