Over 60% of the construction programme has been completed on our project in Portrane.
The construction works of the National Forensic Mental Health Hospital (NFMHSH) in Portrane, north Dublin are advancing at a good pace, evidenced by the fact JJ Rhatigan together with our partner OHL have exceeded 60% of the total works on the project.
Currently work is being carried out on mechanical, electrical and other systems along with interior works such as false ceilings, partitioning, finishing floors and walls. The industrial building has also been started including connections to the main gas, water and electricity utilities.
The construction of The National Forensic Mental Health Services Hospital, is a €120 million+ contract for the HSE. This state-of-the-art facility will replace the Central Mental Hospital in Dundrum and the new campus will facilitate segregated high and medium secure services and includes a number of shared facilities. It will include 13 hospital wards, a primary healthcare and therapy centre and administrative complex and is due for completion in the summer of 2019.
