The construction of a 2 storey L shaped building catering for Breastchecks facilities and also included new accommodation for the HSE’s existing Symptomatic Breast Clinic department at UCHG.
The new building included accommodation for consultation, radiology, mammography, screening, examination, ultrasound, sample preparation, and IT rooms together with offices, changing & WC facilities, meeting rooms and reception areas. The building was heavily serviced and included the integration of all data, security, BMS, communication and fire systems into the existing hospital mainframe.
