This 2,559m2 Primary Care Centre features GP surgeries, dental surgeries, public health nursing rooms, staff facilities, and offices. It will provide a wide range of community-based services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech & language therapy.
The ground floor main reception has a children’s play area complete with seating. The facility is fully enabled for disabled access including platform lifts and induction audible loops for persons with hearing impairments. The car park contains 52 car parking spaces, four of which are wheelchair accessible and four patient and child spaces, in addition, an ambulance bay with a charge point is also provided.
The Balfour Beatty JJ Rhatigan Primary Care CJV is responsible for the design and construction of a total of 14 Primary Care Centres across Ireland, of which Carrick-on-Suir is one.
