Our work on the Garraí Beag Housing Development in Ballybane, Galway, is no exception. Appointed to complete the project after the departure of the previous contractor, we are on track to bring 58 much-needed social housing units to life for Galway City Council.
The €14.5 million development spans 5,611 m² and includes a variety of housing types to meet diverse community needs. The scheme comprises:
- Four-bed, three-bed, and two-bed houses
- Duplex units
- One- and two-bed apartments
This mix of housing options ensures a tailored approach to addressing the housing requirements in the area, catering to families, couples, and individuals alike.
JJ Rhatigan stepped in to complete 80% of the overall construction works. Despite the challenges inherent in resuming a project under such circumstances, our experienced team has ensured a seamless continuation of the build.
The development is currently progressing on schedule, with robust site management and close collaboration with Galway City Council ensuring the December 2024 completion date will be met.
The Garraí Beag project exemplifies JJ Rhatigan’s commitment to sustainability and quality.
