This 2312m2 Primary Care Centre features a range of community-based services such as dental services, community mental health services, and Doctor on call services. The facility is fully enabled for disabled access including induction audible loops for persons with hearing impairments.
The car park contains 65 car parking spaces, 5 of which are wheelchair accessible spaces. Located on the upper deck of the car park is an ambulance bay. Over 3 floors, the building boasts 2 main waiting areas. The ground floor hosts an extensive administration block with meeting rooms, office space, and an ambulance restroom. Adjacent to the main waiting area is a children’s play area consisting of a detailed curved wall with seating and toys. The building is beautifully detailed with various facades and curved features all of which complement the local surroundings.
The Balfour Beatty JJ Rhatigan Primary Care CJV is responsible for the design and construction of a total of 14 Primary Care Centres across Ireland, of which Westport is one.
